CSL was retained by Forest City Ratner Companies to provide a market and financial analysis for a new multi-purpose arena in downtown Brooklyn that will become the home of the relocated New Jersey Nets. CSL analyzed characteristics of recently built NBA/NHL arenas and existing sports facilities in the New York City area. Telephone surveys were completed with local corporations and high income households to assess demand for season tickets, premium seating and sponsorships at the facility. Estimates were developed concerning event and attendance levels that could be achieved at the arena, and the revenues and expenses that could result from arena operations.
