In 2006, CSL delivered the results of our most recent Convention Center master plan for Las Vegas. A major focus of our current work is working with the client and architects with regard to programmatic aspects of the presently-underway design work to ensure that the expanded facility is optimally positioned to attract incremental convention and tradeshow business to Las Vegas. The current effort represents an update to a 2005 study effort that included significant market research, space planning, event estimates and related research efforts.

In 2002, CSL project managers completed an Expansion Feasibility Study and Master Plan for the Center. The study focused on financial operations, industry trends, including an analysis of the country's largest 200 trade shows, benchmarking data with respect to competitive facilities, historical operating data and resulting estimates of future event levels. Recommendations focused on several planning scenarios in order to effectively address future growth and other industry-related trends.

In 2000, CSL was retained by the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority to assist with its long-term facility master planning. CSL provided the LVCVA with consulting services that addressed the current and long-term planning needs relating to the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Cashman Center facilities. The study focused on industry trends specific to the event markets unique to the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center facilities, updated competitive facility benchmarking data, historical operations and demand from event markets specific to smaller, mid-sized and large convention and conference events for the Las Vegas.
