Over the course of eight years, CSL assisted the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Association (RSCVA) and the City of Reno with four major feasibility studies concerning public assembly facilities in Reno. Specifically, CSL assisted the RSCVA with two recent redevelopment studies for the Reno Livestock Events Center (RLEC). The RLEC is a multi-facility equestrian/livestock/agricultural event complex. Its facilities presently include several exhibition facilities, indoor and outdoor spectator venues, horse/animal stalls and other structures. Both studies included detailed feasibility analysis of expanding and improving the facilities, to enhance its ability to compete for regional and national events on a year-round basis.

In 2002, CSL analyzed the market, program, financial and economic impacts of a new downtown conference/events center designed to work closely with area hotels. The study included several hundred surveys of national event planners, industry trend analysis and a review of comparable facilities. Presently under construction, the new center is expected to complement the larger Reno-Sparks Convention Center (and other local event facilities) by attracting a variety of meeting, conference and entertainment events.

Additionally, in 1998, CSL performed a detailed feasibility study concerning the expansion of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, consisting of a detailed market, program, financial and economic impact analysis. The expansion was completed in late 2002. Based on recent conversations with the RSCVA, current bookings are consistent with key projections made by CSL in the original feasibility study.
