Adam Kerns
Mr. Kerns is a Director with CSL and brings more than 16 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry to our clients. Mr. Kerns specializes in providing market and financial advisory services to the sports, entertainment, attraction, and public assembly facility industry.
Mr. Kerns has completed over 400 projects for a variety of clients and properties, including professional sports franchises, collegiate athletic departments, municipalities and public authorities, private real estate development firms, investment banks, architectural firms, live entertainment companies, and attractions, among many others. The depth and breadth of Mr. Kerns’ expertise includes, but is not limited to feasibility studies, market demand analysis, financial projections, economic and fiscal impact analysis, operational reviews, fan satisfaction research, strategic planning, valuation analysis, and other such consulting and advisory services. Throughout his career, Mr. Kerns has provided research and analysis that is grounded in market realities for a variety of facilities, including stadiums, arenas, ballparks, sports complexes, mixed-use developments, performing arts centers, amphitheaters, attractions, casinos, and other such sports, entertainment, and public assembly facilities.
In 2015, Mr. Kerns was a featured presenter at the Goldman Sachs Business of Football Conference in London. Prior to joining CSL, Mr. Kerns worked in the media relations departments of the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers, serving as a statistical analyst and a liaison between the organization and the media. Mr. Kerns received his Master of Arts in Athletic Administration from the University of Iowa. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Health & Sport Studies / Communication Studies from the University of Iowa.
